New Beginnings (well, sort of..)

I have had this blog for a long time, and yet, this is my first post. I always seemed to stall on posting anything as I wanted it to be so perfect, so refined and so polished that I’ve never made it past the ‘draft’ status. This is arguably the worst possible trait for any blogger or writer to have – not that I claim to be either.

This trait runs deep in me. Stalling. Indecisiveness. It’s an affliction that is fuelled by great ideas and lack of execution. The gap between the concept and the outcome is never bridged.

A writer should, according to all the ‘So, you wanna be a writer..?’ books, let his words run free and then polish them off later. Likewise, my drafted posts from 2010 are just waiting to be polished and edited so that I can publish them just before I die – my personal Netflix series, all released into the world at the same moment.

And so, with my worst trait in mind, I will explain my latest and greatest idea – something I have been fighting with for a long time, and something which I know I have needed to do for even longer. The execution requires the dedication, planning and decisiveness I do not possess, and am trying to find from somewhere.

So, ok, it’s another weight loss/get fit training programme blog – but with a twist. My skin.
